Has your mom or dad ever told you a story about when you were a toddler and you made a big mess or broke something? This is one of those stories!

I was about two years old, and I had a dinosaur costume that I wore basically every day, all day. I mean, I wore this thing everywhere. Inside the house, in the backyard, and any other place you could probably think about. I had gotten this costume for Halloween, and i guess I just didn’t want to stop wearing it!

My brother, Nick, was about three months old. As you could probably tell, my mom wasn’t having it easy watching a hyper three year old while taking care of a newborn baby. I was playing upstairs, minding my own business. I guess I wondered what my mother was doing, so I went downstairs. My mom was sitting on the couch while holding my baby brother. ”What are you doing mommy?” I asked. “Just taking care of your brother.” she replied. I then went back upstairs. Our house had a balcony, and you know how moms are around little kids and balconies. So, my mom is just sitting there, holding my brother, when she sees the dinosaur costume come soaring down from the balcony above. “JESUS!” my mother screamed. “He he he he he he!” I laughed. I don’t know if I was some sort of baby genius, but I can clearly remember my intentions of dropping that costume over! I can assure you that it didn’t just “slip” out of my hands. I think I gave my mom a pretty hard time as a toddler. Do you?
